It’s been a long since I had some free time to write on the blog. I’ve been really busy at work. Now that “The Pillow Book” is ready, stable, and error-free (by now at last), I have decided to focus on my next project. I always wanted to write a classical addictive platform game, so I think it is the right moment for doing so. With the introduction of the SpriteKit engine in iOS 7, Apple has decided to give us developers a nice alternative to Cocos2D, and I have decided to explore this interesting framework.
I have been doing some conceptual artwork for the game and testing the framework and I think it is actually an exciting challenge, so there we go!
